Erin Meetoos stammt von der Thunderchild First Nation in Saskatchewan, Kanada. Sie lebt derzeit mit ihren 2 Kindern in Edmonton, in der kanadischen Provinz Alberta. Sie tanzt Jingle Dress (Schellenkleid-Tanz) und nimmt an Zeremonien teil, seit sie 5 Jahre alt ist. Erin ist indigene Kunst/Kultur Vermittlerin im katholischen Schulbezirk in Edmonton, wo sie den Schülern k-12 (vom Kindergarten bis zur 12. Klasse) Nähen, Perlenstickerei und Tanz, zusammen mit anderen kulturellen Kunstformen, beibringt.

Sie ist Unternehmerin und stolze Besitzerin von Auntie Erin´s Regalia. Sie hat ihr Unternehmen gegründet, um anderen im ganzen indianischen Land die gleiche Gelegenheit zu bieten, Powwow mit maßgefertigten Regalia (traditioneller indianischer Kleidung, Schmuck & Accessoires) und Perlenarbeiten zu tanzen. Sie hat kürzlich den Titel einer Modedesignerin erhalten, als ihre von Regalia inspirierte „Inception Collection“ in der „Heart of the City“-Modenschau in Edmonton gezeigt wurde. Erin Meetoos comes from Thunderchild First Nations in Saskatchewan, Canada. She currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta with her 2 children. She has been dancing Jingle and participating in ceremony since she was 5 years old. Erin is the Indigenous Arts Facilitator with the Edmonton Catholic School District. Where she teaches sewing, beading and dance along with other cultural art forms to students k-12.

She is an entrepreneur and the proud owner of Auntie Erin’s Regalia, she created her business to help others all across Indian Country have the same opportunity to dance powwow with custom made regalia and beadwork.
